What does an app cost?
An app is a bigger build than a website, and we quote it individually after a free scoping call. We say a range out loud on that call so you can decide quickly, then put a fixed number in writing.
Do I need both iOS and Android?
Usually yes for customers, since you do not get to pick their phones. For a staff-only tool, one platform is often enough. One codebase means the second platform is an increment, not a second project.
Who owns the app store accounts?
You do. The Apple and Google developer accounts are registered to your business, the app is published under your name, and the code is yours.
What happens after launch?
Apple and Google change the rules every year and an app that is not updated eventually stops installing. The app care plan covers those updates, store listing upkeep and crash monitoring. It is quoted with the project, and only if you want it.
